Several inaugural members were inducted in the NC 4-H Hall of Fame. Representing Pitt County was Mr. Larry Dilda. Mr. Dilda was an extraordinary 4-H'er in the 1940's. Following these festivities, we had a Centennial banquet in which over 1600 people attended. The night's events were concluded with the Rockin' 4-H Clover Dance.

In addition, to the Centennial events, Pitt County 4-H'ers also were recognized for various things throughout the evening. Four Pitt County 4-H'ers attended the NC Citizenship Focus conference in Raleigh in June. They were Alexis Briley, Ashten Bergstedt, Meagan Briley, Madison Bergstedt. These four ladies will work on an action plan to better our community!

We also had a great time at the Northeast District 4-H Science Camp at NC Weslyan. The 4-H'ers who attended that were Sam Christensen, Jameson Bergstedt, Rachael Pearson, Ana Ramirez, Amos Stead, Jonathan Stead, Aaron Vick, and Eric Ramirez. They learned about Space Exploration and Biotechnology.
